Flowerdale Estate is 80 km from the Melbourne CBD (70 minutes), and 50 minutes to Melbourne Airport
The preferred route from the city to Flowerdale Estate is via the Hume Highway, turn off at the Broadford/Flowerdale exit and follow the directions below.
DIRECTIONS FROM C.B.D. (Via Hume Highway)
- Go onto Hume Hwy heading north.
- Continue on until Broadford / Flowerdale exit (Melways 910 - M8).
- Turn right and cross over the freeway following the Strath Creek Road to the Strath Creek Store - approx 16 kms.
- Turn right at the Strath Creek store (Munro Street which becomes Broadford / Flowerdale Road) indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign and continue on for approx 5 kms.
- The Estate entrance is on the left. (Melways 910 P8)
DIRECTIONS FROM C.B.D. (Via Maroondah Highway)
- Depending on your starting location you may wish to exit the CBD via the Monash or Eastern Freeways to join Eastlink
- Exit Eastlink at Ringwood By Pass (Melway 49 E8)
- Turn left to join Whitehorse Road/Maroondah Hwy at Ringwood (Melways 49 K7)
- Continue along past Chirnside Park Shopping Centre (Melways 37 - G5).
- As Hwy changes from three lanes into two lanes, you turn left onto Victoria Road (Melways 38 - B6)
- Continue on for 7.36km and turn right onto McIntyre Lane (Melways 274 - D12)
- Continue along McIntyre Lane until you reach the end and turn left onto Melba Hwy. (Melways 275 - A11)
- Go straight along Melba Hwy through Yarra Glen
- After Yarra Glen continue along Melba Hwy for approx 30 minutes until you reach the Flowerdale turnoff at Glenburn (Melways 910 - Q10)
- Turn left into Break'O'Day Road Glenburn towards Flowerdale and continue along until you reach the end - T intersection - approx 14 kms
- Turn left and continue approximately 6kms, until you reach the Strath Creek / Seymour turn off (Broadford / Flowerdale Road) on your right
- The Estate is approx 8 kms down the road to Strath Creek on the right hand side indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign at the main entrance (Melways 910 P8)
FROM TULLAMARINE AIRPORT
- Take city bound lane of the Tullamarine Fwy (Melways 5 - D6)
- Turn left onto Western Ring Road (Melways 16 - A1)
- Continue along Western Ring Road until you reach the Hume Hwy (Melways 7 - F11)
- Turn left onto Hume Hwy heading north and continue on to the Broadford / Flowerdale exit (Melways 910 - M8)
- Turn right and cross over the freeway following the Strath Creek Road to the Strath Creek Store - approx 16 kms
- Turn right at the store (Munro Street which becomes Broadford / Flowerdale Road) indicated by the Flowerdale Estate sign and continue on for approx 5 kms
- The Estate entrance is on the left. (Melways 910 N8)
