For more than 14 years, Flowerdale Estate has welcomed couples to celebrate in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, just over an hour from Melbourne.
From getting ready onsite to your ceremony, reception, overnight stay and breakfast the following morning, every part of the celebration unfolds in one private estate.
From the ceremony onwards, the estate becomes exclusively yours and your guests’ for the celebration. You and your guests can slow down, settle into the surroundings and enjoy each moment as it comes. It is a private country estate for couples who want their wedding to feel relaxed, personal and entirely their own.
Onsite Accommodation
When the music winds down, your closest people do not need to leave the celebration behind or travel back to Melbourne. Up to 70 guests can stay onsite, wake slowly and come together again the following morning.

Ceremony Locations
Flowerdale Estate offers two beautiful open-air ceremony locations, each set within the peaceful surroundings of the estate.
The North Lawn
The North Lawn is ideal for couples dreaming of a romantic garden ceremony. Framed by manicured lawns, blooming white roses, neatly clipped hedges and a rose-covered arbour, this elegant setting creates a timeless atmosphere surrounded by the estate's natural beauty.
The Lakeside
For a peaceful lakeside ceremony, this location offers a simple timber arbour overlooking calm water, with native trees gently framing the view. It provides a natural and intimate setting for saying "I do" in the open air.
The Pavilion & Reception Experience
Following your ceremony, guests can gather on the deck overlooking the Valley of a Thousand Hills before the celebration moves into The Pavilion. With space for up to 180 guests for a seated reception or 200 guests for a cocktail celebration, The Pavilion offers a relaxed setting for dining, heartfelt speeches and dancing.
Throughout the evening, guests are treated to a seasonal menu featuring fresh local produce, thoughtfully prepared by Executive Chef Dominic Grundy and the culinary team.

The best way to experience Flowerdale Estate is to explore it for yourself. During your private tour, you’ll walk through both ceremony locations, step inside The Pavilion and visit the onsite accommodation while seeing how each part of the estate connects throughout the day.
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your plans with our team and picture how your wedding could unfold across the estate, from the first moments of getting ready to the final celebration with family and friends.

1. Can we tour Flowerdale Estate before booking?
Absolutely. And we highly recommend booking your one-on-one tour with one of our wedding coordinators.
2. How many guests can The Pavilion accommodate?
The Pavilion at Flowerdale Estate welcomes up to 180 guests for a seated reception or 200 guests for a cocktail celebration.
4. Is the estate exclusive to our wedding?
Flowerdale Estate allows wedding parties to be onsite from early morning until the following day. Gracie’s restaurant is open to the general public and your guests for lunch before the estate closes to the general public before the ceremony and becomes exclusive to your guests.
4. Can we choose our own vendors?
Yes. Couples are welcome to select their own preferred suppliers at Flowerdale Estate. We can also provide recommendations for vendors who know the Estate well.
5. Do you have minimum guest-number or minimum-spend requirements?
Minimum guest numbers apply to some wedding dates. If your guest numbers do not meet the applicable minimum, there may be an option to work to a minimum spend instead. Our wedding team can confirm the requirements for your preferred date.
6. What is included in the wedding packages?
Our packages are food and beverage inclusive, with options to customise and enhance them to suit your vision. Venue hire includes your onsite ceremony and reception setup. View our wedding brochure for current package information.
7. Can we choose our own vendors?
Yes. Couples are welcome to select their own preferred suppliers at Flowerdale Estate. We can also provide recommendations for vendors who know the Estate well.
8. What happens if it rains?
If rain is forecast in the lead-up to your day, our team will work with you to choose the best option for your celebration. A clear-top marquee can create a beautiful setting on the North Lawn or by the lake, while The Pavilion offers a stunning undercover option to ensure your celebration can continue comfortably in all weather conditions.
9. Does Flowerdale Estate allow pets?
Yes, we know pets are family too! We welcome pets to be involved in the ceremony and photography, and they should depart before your reception commences. We highly suggest a pet chaperone to ensure you can enjoy the special moments.
