Kid’s High Tea On The Farm
This school holidays we hosted an awesome family day out at Flowerdale Estate. We invited parents and their gorgeous children to a day on the farm!
We were up early to get the ‘farm’ prepared for our guests. Herbie, Baby John, Mr Chip and George were freshly groomed and ready for the day. Our team got into character, the scones were in the oven come lunchtime.
The sun was shining and it was the perfect weather for outdoor activities. Our little farmer hands arrived and we had a lovely meet and greet. It was a good opportunity for everyone to get settled in to #farmlife.
Mr Chips is out infamous goat. If you haven’t met him before, he’s a cheeky boy that loves us humans. He came up from the paddock to join in on the action. The one thing Mr Chips loves is food, you may have noticed his appetite for bride’s bouquets – he’s often in photographs trying to get a bite!
We had a special guest, Caitlin!
Who enjoyed being brushed, patted and cared for. Just in case you missed the memo, Caitlin is a miniature horse! Very sweet and the kids just loved her.
Kids had the exciting experience of riding on the big red tractor that came up from the paddocks. It was super fun and we loved seeing everyone have such a good time with us. It was then feeding time for Herbie the lamb, our newest member of the Flowerdale Family.
After all the running around, it was time for lunch! Our families enjoyed lunch in the Pavilion. Tables were set up for families to sit together and enjoy their spread. There was plenty of food and coffee for the parents.
This was our first school holiday activity and we were so happy (and grateful) on how the day went. We hope everyone enjoyed their time as much as we loved having you all!
Until next time,
The team at Flowerdale Estate.
